Nothing much to report here. Just got off the phone with Brad and Julie....and then while talking to them, Rob called in. Katie left a couple of hours ago to go back to Tx.State....she surprised us with a visit home this weekend. So, it's been wonderful talking to all three of the kids....everyone seems to be doing well. What a blessing that is!!!! Charlie is on his way home from a day trip to Vegas....should be here in an hour or so.
Hey! A day off from school tomorrow....always a good thing. President's Day, I think it is.
Life is great!
WELCOME! Enjoy the pics and please remember to sign in and say "hi" when you visit!

Happy New Year!
I hope all of you party goers and doers are safe, sound and snuggly as you begin, what I hope will be, a very prosperous and healthy 2008. Can you believe we are really getting so old that probably not too many of us....(or maybe it was just me and Charlie)...even saw the new year in!
We went to see Charlie Wilson's War---a good flick, by the way. The theatre we went to is just a couple of miles from us and has tables with comfortable seating, and serves great food. Our neighbor, Jim, from across the street went with us and we were all home and in bed by 10:00. (Jim in his own, of course.)
New Year's resolutions? Anyone care to share? I probably will try to get more organized...started yesterday by clearing out bathroom drawers and throwing out old lotions, makeup, stuff like that. The clutter is my enemy.....and I'm attacking back!
Katie even gathered up some clothing she no longer wears, and hopefully it will find it's way into a box and get shipped to Charlotte cousins.
Today we have plans to meet friends at a favorite Mexican restaurant in Fort Worth...I start school tomorrow, so it's back to the routine of getting up early and hitting the road. I will also try to continue my 3x a week, 4:30 mornings at the gym....I hate going but love it once I'm there. Continue eating Weight Watcher healthy...shed the three or four pounds that keep finding their way back to my tummy...(too many enchiladas??) and I'm really excited about going out to Phoenix on January 12th to watch and cheer for Brad as he runs the marathon for the leukemia foundation. I'm very proud of him.
Also am looking forward to a trip to Caymen in February; Savannah, Georgia in March with my Maine girls, and then, of course, my annual pilgrimage to our little house in the woods in early June....not sure about whether or not I will return to school next year...it may be time to do something else...not sure.
Keep Charlie's dad, Carmen, in your prayers...he has knee surgery scheduled early in the year--still waiting on a date for that. They are also trying to sell their place in Jupiter and move back to Fort Worth...market is so soft and it's probably not going to happen for a while. Charlie's brother, Gary, and his wife, Patty, are building a house in Fort Worth and have already made the move from Connecticut, so we will hopefully, in the near future, have a Gisi clan back in Texas.
Hope to hear from someone soon....this is a great way to stay in touch with family...so sign on, take the plunge and be a blogger!!!
Love and bestest wishes for 2008!

Sudoku Mania
I have always admired and envied the people that I sit next to on the airplane who work those crazy number puzzles. My friend from Maine, Joni Sherman, even tried to teach the technique to me when we traveled to Europe and sat next to each other on the plane. Maybe it was the high altitude or the number of champagne drinks we had, but it didn't click. I just figured that my "right brain" self would never be able to master anything that detailed. HAAAAA! When I recently visited Brad, he received a book of Sudoku puzzles and we sat down and completed one together....by George, I think I've got it! Yesterday I picked up a copy of my very own Easy Sudoku puzzles, and frankly, I am rather bored by it.....but obsessed at the same time. I got up at 6:30 this a.m. to tackle another one, and now I am looking forward to purchasing a more difficult book. I'm wondering if any of YOU out there...my faithful family readers....okay...maybe it's just Jimmer...ever try Sudoku?? Let me know if you love it as much as I do!!!!
